• All of our wedding films are shot by our in-house wedding videographers. We never hire subcontractors or use students to film your special day. Our clients are able to meet with their wedding videographer prior to the event, to discuss how they would like the videographer to film. Our clients can put a face to mind, and have someone that will remain responsible for the film as it passes from production to post-production. The wedding videographer is always just a phone call away and can advise on all kinds of technicalities as the footage becomes a fully edited film. So as the wedding videographer supervises the edit they can liaise over the length of the speeches or what music track works best where. In fact all kinds useful things that one only knows after the event, are all taken care of. All our films are handcrafted in this way with our clients always at the centre of everything we do.
  
  
• All of the above examples are the highlights sequences taken from real wedding videos, just how our clients received them. They have all be Sound Mixed as well as what is called Colour Graded. So with sound, because we film using a TV technique "constant record" we always have lots of naturally occurring audio, which we are then able to Sound Mix, with our clients chosen music tracks. Thereby giving a far more natural feel to the film. We also Colour Grade all our edited footage, controlling colour balance, tone and luminance. Elevating all the wedding footage to what really is broadcast standard.
  
  
• All the equipment used by your wedding videographer is either the latest in its class or is an industry standard. So for example our most popular camera used on the majority of packages is the Sony Z7. It has a brand new standard of light chip called Exmor. The cameras it replaces the Z1, FX1 and V1 don't have the Exmor light sensor chip. Instead they use a light chip which was invented in the late 1990's. These cameras are still commonplace and very popular with wedding videographers. They can be easily spotted by their slightly orange looking footage (often covered by "black and white") and the milkiness in the contrast.
  But it is not just about the picture. We use for your wedding video what is called "broadcast industry standard" equipment. So we use a shot gun mic on the camera called a Sennheiser MKH 416. This mic is the widely accepted standard for film and tv drama. Practically every other gun mic is not of this standard. Similarly with our Audio Ltd RMS radio mics which are used on TV and film sets the world over. Because we know that there is no "take two" on your special day . We rely on what really works in film and tv everyday, it would be too stressful if we didn't
  
  
• The reason for all this geeky stuff, the Sound Mix , the Colour Grading, the Exmor chip and the Sennheiser MKH 416. Is so you don't notice them. Because if the audio sounds like the TV you watch everyday then you won't notice if it sounds right. It is only when something is wrong that you notice. It is the same with the picture "temperature" if it suddenly turns black and white or appears too orange or too blue or too digital, then you'll notice it, your "suspension of disbelief" will be broken. Our aim if for our clients not to notice the work that goes on in the background, not to be aware of the technical stuff. When you watch your wedding video we want you to think, "my goodness, was that an hour, it only seemed like 20 minutes"
